It's all about the people! Our 3rd ECOEMPOWER Online Knowledge Conference will tackle the social dimension: What is it that people need and expect from One Stop Shops? Register now and join our discussion!
The energy transition is often discussed in terms of technologies, policies and investments. Yet its success ultimately depends on peopletheir motivations, expectations and decisions.
One Stop Shops (OSS) are typically built and driven by highly motivated individuals and organisations. But their real impact unfolds only when they reach beyond early adopters and enable others to engage, participate and take action. This raises an essential question: Who is the work of a One Stop Shop really for — and who are we still not reaching?
The 3rd ECOEMPOWER Online Knowledge Conference invites practitioners, researchers and stakeholders to explore the social dimension of the energy transition and to reflect on a necessary shift in perspective.
It’s all about the people.
What do citizens, community leaders, investors or local actors truly need and expect from One Stop Shops? Which motivations, concerns and decision-making factors shape engagement? And how can OSS services be designed to respond to diverse expectations and local realities — including those often overlooked, the forgotten?
During this interactive online conference, we will:
- examine different stakeholder perspectives through persona-based discussions,
- explore barriers and motivations shaping participation in energy communities,
- discuss how to reach people whose engagement is not driven by financial return alone,
- and exchange practical learnings from the setup and operation of One Stop Shops across Europe.
Together, we will look beyond technical solutions and focus on what makes participation possible: understanding people.
